Napoli dismiss Gonzalo Higuain reports

Napoli dismiss reports that they have agreed a fee with Barcelona for striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Napoli have denied that they have agreed to sell Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain to Barcelona this summer.

Marca claims that the Camp Nou club have agreed terms with the Serie A side for the forward, who only moved to Italy last summer.

However, Napoli have quickly rubbished the claims on their official Twitter account this evening, describing the report as "entirely unfounded".

Higuain, who is on the bench for Argentina's opening match at the World Cup this evening, scored 24 goals for Napoli last season.
