Andres Iniesta open to United States possibility

Andres Iniesta has revealed that he could end his professional career in the United States.

The long-serving midfielder is contracted to Barcelona until the summer of 2018, when he will be 34 years old.

When asked whether he would consider a spell in the MLS, Iniesta responded "we'll see what happens".

"In 2018 [when my contract expires], I'll be 34. We'll see what happens [regarding a possible move to the United States]," Iniesta told reporters.

"The only future I'm thinking about is next season. I'm not thinking beyond that."

Barcelona are currently on a pre-season tour of the United States.
