Barcelona could reportedly sign Lyon attacker Memphis Depay for £4.5m during the January transfer window.
The Netherlands international was strongly linked with a move to Camp Nou over the summer, but the deadline passed with the 26-year-old still in France.
Memphis's contract with Lyon is due to expire next June, though, and the Dutchman is not expected to pen fresh terms at Groupama Stadium.
Barca cannot afford to spend heavily during the winter transfer window due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak, but according to L'Equipe, the attacker could join the Catalan giants for as little as £4.5m.
The report claims that Lyon are reluctant to lose the former Manchester United attacker on a free transfer next summer and are therefore open to a mid-season move.
Memphis has again been in impressive form at club level during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring seven times and contributing four assists in 15 Ligue 1 appearances.
