Valencia full-back Jordi Alba is reportedly close to agreeing a switch to Spanish and European champions Barcelona.
The 22-year-old has been identified as the ideal candidate to replace the ageing Eric Abidal in defence by Barca coach Pep Guardiola, according to speculation in Spain.
It has been claimed that Alba has agreed personal terms over a move to the Nou Camp, although Barca have yet to agree a fee with Los Ches.
Alba has also been linked with Manchester United in recent months.
