Eric Abidal heading for Barcelona exit?

Barcelona defender Eric Abidal is reportedly ready to leave the club at the end of the season.

The Frenchman, who will be a free agent in the summer, returned to the side this year after undergoing a liver transplant in 2012.

President Sandro Rosell has offered Abidal a non-playing contract for next year that the 33-year-old is expected to turn down, according to Eurosport.

A number of French clubs are thought to be interested in the player.
