Barcelona hit Thailand for seven

Pedro claimed a hat-trick as Barcelona recorded a 7-1 victory from their pre-season friendly against Thailand in Bangkok this afternoon.

The Spanish champions were 5-0 up within the opening 35 minutes, with Pedro helping himself to two of those goals.

Summer signing Neymar also claimed his first goal for the club, while Lionel Messi added a brace, including one from the penalty spot.

The final goal of the half was scored by the home side courtesy of Teerasil Dangda, who kept his composure from 12 yards.

Pedro completed his trio of goals just two minutes after the restart when he lifted the ball into the net, before substitute Alexis Sanchez rounded off the scoring in the 50th minute when he turned in a cross from Andres Iniesta.

Barca continued to dominate the possession throughout the remainder of the half, but they were unable to add to their tally.
