Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Real Betis.

Barcelona are expected to be without the services of Gerard Pique for Saturday's La Liga clash with Real Betis in Seville.

The centre-back picked up a thigh problem in the narrow win over Mallorca last weekend and is unlikely to be risked for the contest with top-four hopefuls Real Betis.

Eric Garcia could therefore line up alongside Ronald Araujo in the middle of the defence, while Ansu Fati will hope to receive more minutes off the bench, having made his return from a hamstring problem as a substitute in the 2-1 success last time out.

Oscar Mingueza and Martin Braithwaite are both back in training after missing out last weekend through COVID-19, but Nico Gonzalez and Pedri will miss the remainder of the season with toe and hamstring injuries respectively.

Sergi Roberto and Sergino Dest are unlikely to be involved, so the team could be similar to the one that started against Mallorca, with Dani Alves retaining his spot at right-back.

Head coach Xavi has a decision to make in the final third of the field, though, following Memphis Depay's positive performance last time out.

The Netherlands international was on the scoresheet in the success over Mallorca and could retain his spot in attack alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ferran Torres, with Ousmane Dembele on the bench.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Alves, Araujo, E Garcia, Alba; F de Jong, Busquets, Gavi; F Torres, Aubameyang, Memphis
