Barcelona star Luis Suarez has hit out at FIFA by claiming that he was treated worse than a "hooligan" when being issued with a four-month ban for biting.
The Uruguayan was banned from all football activity after biting the shoulder of Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during a match at the World Cup in Brazil last summer.
"A lock is one thing, but not to be allowed to train at times, as in the beginning, which is a treatment worse than when I was a hooligan," Suarez told Kicker.
Suarez, who signed for Barca from Liverpool last summer for a £75m fee, scored eight goals and nine assists in 19 Premier League games.
