Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic has insisted that he does not mind where he plays for Barcelona next season.
The 26-year-old, who recently signed a five-year deal with the Catalan outfit after leaving Sevilla, has claimed that he is comfortable in a number of midfield positions.
"For me what matters is what the manager decides. What's best for the team is what's best for me. I played as a pivot in midfield for a season with Schalke. In each position you play, you have to know what the manager expects from you. I'm open to playing in any position or role he wants," he told reporters at a press conference.
"I've spoken with Luis Enrique, although until now my intention has been to stay focused on the World Cup. It wasn't easy training for games at the World Cup, thinking about whether this was all sorted or not, it wasn't easy at all."
Rakitic will wear the number four shirt for Barcelona next season.
