Pedro sidelined for 10 days

Barcelona forward Pedro has been ruled out of action for 10 days with a calf injury.

The 25-year-old sustained the problem during Spain's 1-0 win over France in Tuesday's World Cup qualifier at the Stade de France.

"Tests have confirmed that the player has small muscle fibre tears in his left leg," read an official Barcelona statement.

Pedro scored the winner for Spain in Saint-Denis as they moved one point clear of France at the top of Group I.
