Neymar: 'I will be ready for new season'

Neymar insists that he will be fully recovered from his back injury when he returns to Barcelona.

Barcelona forward Neymar has dismissed suggestions that he will not be fully fit for the start of the new season.

The 22-year-old injured his back in Brazil's World Cup quarter-final win over Colombia in July, with initial reports claiming that he could be out of action for a number of months.

However, he is certain of being available to Luis Enrique for the beginning of the new campaign as Barcelona look to take the title away from defending champions Atletico Madrid.

"I am recovering bit by bit from the injury and I will arrive in Barcelona at 100%," Neymar told reporters. "I want to have a good season and I would like to help my team-mates get good results."

Barcelona begin the season against Elche on August 24.
