Luis Enrique leaves Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo boss Luis Enrique announces that he is leaving the La Liga club, amid speculation that he could replace Gerardo Martino at Barcelona in the summer.

Luis Enrique has resigned from his position at Celta Vigo as reports continue to link him with a move to Barcelona.

The former Spanish international has guided Vigo to eighth place in La Liga with one game remaining, but he has frequently been linked with a return to Camp Nou.

Gerardo Martino's position at the Catalan giants is in doubt after a mixed campaign, although they can still win the La Liga title if they beat Atletico Madrid on Sunday.

However, even a win may not be enough for Martino to keep his job, with Enrique, who has previously coached Barcelona's 'B' side, highly regarded at the club after making 300 appearances during an eight-year spell as a player.
