Andres Iniesta has handed Barcelona an injury scare after missing training on Tuesday morning.

The 29-year-old, who played 84 minutes of his side's 1-0 defeat to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, was a notable absentee during the light session on Tuesday.

According to reports in Spain, the Spanish international is suffering with a slight hamstring strain, although it is not clear whether the concern will keep him on the sidelines for an extended period.

Iniesta is yet to sign a new deal with the Catalan outfit, despite his current contract expiring at the end of next season.
