Cesc Fabregas wants central midfield role at Barcelona

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed that he wants to play in central midfield for the Blaugrana.

The 25-year-old was influential in that position against Deportivo La Coruna in La Liga on Saturday, helping the side to a 5-4 victory at the Riazor.

"I felt at home in the position I was playing in," he said. "I had more space. I had more of the ball and more passes reached me."

Fabregas joined Barcelona from Arsenal in August 2011.
