Enrique: 'I will consider changing sports'

Luis Enrique is unsure where his next career step will take him, having brought an end to his three-year spell in charge of Barcelona at the weekend.

Luis Enrique has revealed that he is "open to any possibility" after calling time on his Barcelona spell and will even consider switching focus to a new sport.

The 47-year-old announced in March that he would bow out at the end of the campaign, citing fatigue as his main reason following a challenging third and final season.

Enrique is now expected to take a sabbatical before making a decision over his next career move, having spent the last nine years in management.

"I do not know what I will do in the future," Spanish publication Marca quotes him as saying. "I am open to any possibility - perhaps even changing sports."

Enrique won nine major honours during his managerial stint at Camp Nou, including three-successive Copa del Rey crowns.
