Barcelona's title odds slashed

Bookmakers have cut the odds on Barcelona regaining the La Liga title following this weekend's results in the Spanish top flight.

Tito Vilanova's side moved to the top of the table courtesy of a 4-1 victory over Getafe on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Barca's main rivals and defending champions Real Madrid are currently 11th as a result of their 1-0 loss at Sevilla on the same night.

With that in mind, the majority of bookies are now offering Barca to become champions again at odds as short as 2/7.

Madrid can be backed at 11/4.
