Adriano has revealed that the Barcelona squad are confident of retaining their La Liga title this season.

Barca currently trail leaders Real Madrid by one point, although Los Blancos can extend that gap to four points with victory over local rivals Atletico Madrid this evening.

Despite the deficit, Brazilian defender Adriano has urged his teammates to keep pushing until the end of the season.

"We believe we can win the title. We'll keep on fighting until the end because there are still a lot of points in play," he told the club's official website.

"We have to hold on to this thought and work really hard."

Adriano was part of the Barca starting lineup that defeated Getafe 4-0 last night.
