Barcelona defender Eric Abidal has left hospital following his liver transplant last month.
The news was confirmed on Barcelona's official website on Monday evening.
A statement read: "The French defender was discharged form hospital today after his liver transplant on April 10.
"Given the particulars of his recovery process. Abidal will have to undergo a number of hospital check-ups."
The 32-year-old's cousin, Gerard, was his donor.
