Barcelona vs. Osasuna: Predicted Los Rojillos XI for La Liga showdown

Moreno sweating on fitness of key attacker: How Osasuna could line up against Barcelona

Osasuna are sweating over the fitness of Aimar Oroz for Saturday's La Liga clash against Barcelona.

The 23-year-old has been a vital player for Vicente Moreno's side during the 2024-25 campaign, making 29 appearances in all competitions, and he netted twice in his team's 3-3 draw with Valencia last time out.

Oroz had to be replaced in the early stages of the second period against Los Che due to a muscular issue, though, and there is now a strong chance that he will miss out against Barcelona.

There will once again be eyes on Ante Budimir this weekend, with the 33-year-old bidding to add to the 14 La Liga goals that he has managed during an excellent 2024-25 campaign.

Only Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski (21) and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe (17) have scored more times than Budimir in Spain's top flight during the current season.

Head coach Moreno could make two changes to the side that started against Valencia, with Kike Barja in line to take Oroz's spot, while Juan Cruz may replace Abel Bretones at left-back this weekend.

However, there should again be positions in the final third of the field for both Bryan Zaragoza and Ruben Garcia.

Osasuna possible starting lineup: Herrera; Areso, Boyomo, Catena, Cruz; Moncayola, Torro; Ruben Garcia, Barja, Zaragoza; Budimir
