Barcelona's Luis Suarez returns to training

Luis Suarez returns to training with his Barcelona teammates following a stint on the sidelines with a hamstring complaint.

Luis Suarez has returned to training ahead of Saturday evening's Copa del Rey final.

The Barcelona striker, who has scored 24 goals in all competitions this term, has spent the last fortnight on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

His availability for the clash with Athletic Bilbao had been in doubt, but his presence at Barca's La Masia training complex has resulted in suggestions that he will be fit to play in the showpiece encounter.

"All the available players from the first team trained. Luis Suarez worked with them without yet being given the medical all clear," read a statement on the club's official website.

As well as his goal return, Suarez has also provided 16 assists for his teammates since he made the switch to Catalonia from Liverpool last summer.
