Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez yet to return to Barcelona training

Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are reportedly yet to return to full training ahead of Barcelona's next La Liga fixture with Valencia.

Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are reportedly yet to return to first-team training with Barcelona.

Messi has not featured since sustaining a calf problem during the summer, while the same can be said of Suarez who picked up a similar injury against Athletic Bilbao during the opening match of the season.

The pair had been expected to be working with their teammates ahead of Saturday's La Liga showdown with Valencia at Camp Nou.

However, while Marca claims that they have each of them have made progress, it has been said that neither forward is currently training with the rest of the group.

The report suggests that Messi and Suarez remain in contention to make their return at the weekend, although it appears unlikely that either player will start the contest.
