Barcelona injury, suspension list vs. Valencia

Barcelona will be bidding to return to winning ways on Sunday afternoon when they make the trip to Mestalla to take on Valencia.

Xavi's side played out a 2-2 draw with Espanyol in La Liga last weekend, which left them in fourth position in the table, four points behind third-placed Real Betis.

Ansu Fati was in tears when he left the field against Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey, having suffered a recurrence of a hamstring problem, and he is unlikely to be back before the end of March.


Sergi Roberto

Sergi Roberto underwent surgery on a thigh problem towards the end of last year, meaning that he will not be available for selection until at least March.


Samuel Umtiti

Samuel Umtiti is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, having been forced to undergo an operation on the foot injury that he picked up during a training session.
