Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Levante

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash with Levante.

Barcelona will be looking for their sixth straight La Liga victory when they travel to Levante on Saturday afternoon.

The Spanish champions struggled for form in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign but have now won their last five in Spain's top flight, including a 5-1 home victory over Real Valladolid on Tuesday night.

Ernesto Valverde's side are currently top of the table with 22 points, while their run of wins in all competitions stands at seven having also triumphed in their last two Champions League outings.

The team's attention will once again be on the league this weekend as they look to consolidate first position.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barca's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the match.

Samuel Umtiti

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 2 (vs. Levante)

Restricted to just one appearance for Barca this season, Samuel Umtiti again missed out against Valladolid on Tuesday night due to a knee problem. The France international is back in training with Valverde's side, though, and there is a chance that he could return to the squad for this weekend's clash.

Jordi Alba

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: November 2 (vs. Levante)

Jordi Alba asked to be replaced in the latter stages of Tuesday's clash with Valladolid after suffering a slight injury. Barca are yet to provide an update on the left-back's situation, although he has emerged as a potential doubt for the fixture in Valencia.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barca have no suspension issues heading into Saturday's clash, and Ousmane Dembele - restricted to just three league appearances this season - will be available once again having served a two-game ban.
