Andoni Zubizarreta plays down Sergio Aguero interest

Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has quelled suggestions that the Spanish club could move for Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero.

Rumours have linked the Argentine striker with a move to Spain in recent months, but Zubizarreta has played down such reports.

"We don't need to watch him closely to know what a great player he is, but if we listen to all the rumours of players we're linked with, we'd have a squad like an American football team, with over fifty players! We're more than happy with the players we already have," he told reporters.

Barcelona have been drawn against Manchester City in the last-16 stage of the Champions League.
