Caballero: 'City do not fear Barca'

Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero has insisted that his side do not fear Barcelona, but expects their Champions League tie later this month to be tough.

The Catalan giants got the better of the Premier League side in last year's competition, beating the English champions 4-1 on aggregate.

However, Caballero insists that City have learnt their lesson and believes that Barca are not the side that they once were.

"It'll be tough, as these games always are. City have learnt from last year and I hope we go into the first leg on top form," the 33-year-old told Marca.

"The aim is to play better than we did last time and reach the quarter finals.

"The team isn't as strong as in recent years. That helps us and makes us feel stronger."

City play the first leg of their tie with Barca at the Etihad Stadium on February 24, with the second leg taking place on March 18 at the Camp Nou.
