Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Porto

Barcelona injury, suspension list vs. Porto

Barcelona would book their spot in the last-16 stage of the Champions League with a game to spare if they overcome Porto on Tuesday night.

The Catalan giants are currently top of Group H, level on nine points with second-placed Porto, while Shakhtar Donetsk are third in the section on six points.

Xavi's side need to win on Tuesday to be certain of advancing at this stage, but they will enter the match off the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano in Spain's top flight, which has left them in third position in the table on 31 points.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Porto, who have won their last three matches in all competitions.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Status: Out Type of injury: Back Possible return date: December 3 (vs. Atletico Madrid)

Ter Stegen had to withdraw from the Germany squad over the international break due to a back problem; he missed out against Rayo at the weekend and is also absent for this contest.

Gavi

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Gavi suffered an ACL injury while representing Spain over the international break, and the midfielder is now set to be missing for the rest of the 2023-24 campaign.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barcelona do not have any players suspended for this match.
