Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran has revealed that he is "100% ready" for the World Cup.
The right-back picked up an injury in the latter stages of the Champions League final last month, which Atletico lost 4-1 to capital rivals Real Madrid.
However, the Spaniard was included in the La Roja squad for this summer's competition and he has insisted that he is fit to take part.
"I feel pretty good, much better," he told Marca.
"I am grateful to Vicente [del Bosque] for trusting me and when I'm asked to play I'll do my best as I have done all year. I'm optimistic, I'm very stubborn, very strong. I've always had difficult moments and have overcome them and [this injury] has been one more.
"When the [Champions League] final finished I was very sore. But Atletico and the national team have looked after me well and now I have no problem as I'm with the group and 100% ready."
Juanfran is the current favourite to start at right-back for his country this summer.
