Atletico Madrid youngster Saul Niguez has signed a new contract at the Vicente Calderon.
The 20-year-old, who has recently been linked with a move to Manchester United, had previously been committed to the Spanish champions until 2018.
However, under the terms of his new deal, the playmaker has extended his stint with Atletico by a further two years.
"For me it means a lot to wear this shirt. I've been here for 12 years and the club have treated me very well. People have taken care of me from day one," he told reporters.
Saul has scored four goals from his 32 appearances this season.
