Report: Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur battle for Florian Thauvin

Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly go head to head for the signature of Marseille midfielder Florian Thauvin this summer.

The 21-year-old moved to Marseille from Bastia last summer, scoring 11 times and registering six assists during his first season for the club.

However, according to RMC, both Atletico and Spurs are preparing to test Marseille's resolve with bids for the Frenchman.

Thauvin has scored six times in five games for France Under-21's.
