Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Angel Di Maria reportedly indicates that he is open to a transfer to Atletico Madrid this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Angel Di Maria has reportedly expressed a desire to move to Atletico Madrid.

Di Maria has enjoyed a successful three-year period at the Parc des Princes, with 50 goals being scored in 124 appearances in all competitions.

However, with just a year remaining on his deal, Di Maria has previously acknowledged that he could be sold during the summer with PSG looking to improve their standing with FFP.

According to AS, that has resulted in Di Maria contacting Argentine compatriot Diego Simeone regarding a potential switch to Atletico Madrid, who finished as La Liga runners-up this season.

Di Maria has previously represented city rivals Real Madrid, but it appears that the playmaker is keen to play for Atletico during the next campaign.
