Angel Correa close to Atletico Madrid move?

San Lorenzo forward Angel Correa is reportedly close to officially joining Atletico Madrid.

On Monday, images of Agustin Jimenez, a representative of the player, landing in the Spanish capital circulated on social networking site Twitter, aiding suggestions that a move was close.

The 19-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in South American football, has previously been linked with a move to Manchester City.

However, San Lorenzo vice president Marcelo Tinelli recently told reporters: "Next week or the week after, Matias will travel to Madrid to close the deal for Correa with Atletico."

Atletico are expected to lose star forward Diego Costa to Chelsea this summer.
