Preview: Atletico Madrid vs. Athletic Bilbao

Sports Mole looks ahead to Sunday's La Liga clash between Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao.

Atletico Madrid could go top of La Liga if they beat Athletic Bilbao on Sunday and other results go their way.

Diego Simeone's side currently sit one point adrift of leaders Barcelona, having won 10 of their 11 league fixtures this season.

Penalties from Diego Costa and David Villa helped them to record a 2-1 success at Granada in their last outing.

Athletic Bilbao sit fifth in the standings following their 2-2 draw with Elche on Thursday.

Ernesto Valverde's side have lost just one of their last six league fixtures.

Costa and Villa are expected to continue their partnership in attack for the hosts, while Raul Garcia and Oliver Torres are pushing for starts.

Bilbao have no new injury concerns ahead of the match and Valverde could select an unchanged XI.
