Mario Suarez back in Atletico Madrid training

Mario Suarez has returned to training for Atletico Madrid, quelling fears that he could miss the next couple of weeks with a muscle problem.

The midfielder suffered the problem in the latter stages of his side's 1-0 win over Juventus in the Champions League on October 1.

As a result, the Spaniard missed Atletico's 3-1 defeat to Valencia last weekend and it had been feared that he would miss around a month of action.

However, Suarez returned to Atletico training yesterday afternoon and is expected to be available for next weekend's clash with Espanyol.
