Report: Miranda to return against Real Madrid

Miranda will reportedly return to the heart of the Atletico Madrid defence for Thursday's Copa del Rey last-16 second leg against Real Madrid.

The Brazilian has not played for Atletico since the winter break following a slight injury, in addition to the form of Jose Gimenez.

However, according to AS, the centre-back will return alongside Diego Godin for the clash at the Bernabeu.

Elsewhere, Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann are both expected to start, with Fernando Torres dropping to the bench.

Atletico lead 2-0 from the first leg at the Vicente Calderon last week.
