Report: Joshua Guilavogui to take on prominent Atletico Madrid role

Various reports in Spain have claimed that Atletico Madrid midfielder Josuha Guilavogui will take on a regular first-team role for the Spanish outfit in 2014.

The 23-year-old joined the capital outfit from Saint Etienne in the summer, but had to wait until October to make his league debut due to a number of fitness concerns.

The athletic midfielder has figured in recent weeks, however, with reports claiming that boss Diego Simeone will elevate him into the first-team picture once the winter break has ended.

Spanish publication AS has also suggested that the Frenchman could start in Atletico's Champions League clash with Porto on Wednesday.
