Wednesday's Major League Soccer predictions including Toronto vs. New England

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Major League Soccer fixtures, including Toronto vs. New England Revolution.

Atlanta vs. NY Red Bulls (Thursday, 12.30am)

Atlanta United take on New York Red Bulls in the MLS Eastern Conference on Wednesday.

The hosts can move within five points of their forthcoming opponents with a victory, having played one game fewer than them, too.

We say: Atlanta United 2-1 New York Red Bulls

Atlanta's form has improved slightly of late, and we can envisage them closing the gap on the playoff spots with a narrow victory.

On paper, they have more talented attackers than their opponents, which could prove crucial alongside having home advantage.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Toronto vs. New England (Thursday, 12.30am)

Toronto and the New England Revolution will both endeavour to claim their third MLS victories on the bounce in Wednesday's showdown at BMO Field.

Bob Bradley's men ran out 3-1 winners over the Portland Timbers last time out, while their visitors recorded another shut-out in a 1-0 success over DC United.

We say: Toronto 1-0 New England Revolution

If ever there was a team well-equipped to quell a rampant Toronto attack, it would be the Revs, but Arena's injury woes in the final third could cost his side dear this week.

Toronto cannot expect to breach their visitors at will, but the only way is up for Bradley's side at the moment, and they should have what it takes to edge past their dogged opponents with a clean sheet in tow.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

NY City vs. Charlotte FC (Thursday, 1.00am)

New York City FC will be bidding to return to winning ways in the MLS when they continue their campaign at home to Charlotte FC on Wednesday night.

The home side, who are third in the Eastern Conference, have lost their last two to Columbus Crew and Inter Miami, while 11th-placed Charlotte will enter this contest off the back of a 5-0 loss to Los Angeles FC.

We say: New York City FC 3-1 Charlotte FC

New York City will be desperate to bounce back from successive defeats, and we are expecting them to triumph on Tuesday night. Charlotte are capable of causing problems, but we are finding it difficult to back anything other than a home success in this contest.

Dallas vs. Philadelphia (Thursday, 2.00am)

Dallas host Philadelphia Union in the MLS on Wednesday.

Both teams are faring well in the regular season, with Philadelphia topping the Eastern Conference and Dallas sitting third in the Western Conference.

We say: Dallas 1-1 Philadelphia Union

Both sides have been in good form of late, so we can envisage a share of the spoils.

Philadelphia are second in the overall MLS table right now, but with a long trip ahead of them to Dallas, they would likely be content with avoiding defeat.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Vancouver vs. Colorado (Thursday, 3.00am)

Seeking to make it two wins from two consecutive away games in the MLS for the first time since August 2021, Colorado Rapids visit the BC Place Stadium to face Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday.

Both sides head into the game separated by just one point and one place in the Western Conference standings and this makes for an exciting and thrilling contest.

We say: Vancouver Whitecaps 1-3 Colorado Rapids

Off the back of a humbling result against LA Galaxy, the Whitecaps will be looking to quickly return to winning ways and restore some pride. However, they face a resurgent Colorado Rapids side who are currently firing on all cylinders at the attacking end of the pitch. We predict the Rapids will outscore the home side and edge closer to the playoffs places.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
