Report: Athletic Bilbao to sign Loic Pierre Boum

Athletic Bilbao are reportedly close to signing Loic Pierre Boum from Osasuna.

The African-born defender currently represents Osasuna's Infantil A rojillo side, where his performances have attracted the attention of a number of Spanish clubs.

Real Zaragoza were believed to have been close to securing his signature, but according to AS, Bilbao have stolen a march on their rivals and could announce the signing this week.

Boum is eligible for Bilbao's Basque-only policy after recently gaining citizenship.
