A report claims that former Athletic Bilbao coach Marcelo Bielsa will take charge of Santos this week.

Former Athletic Bilbao coach Marcelo Bielsa will reportedly take charge of Brazilian outfit Santos this week.

The 57-year-old, who departed Bilbao at the end of last season after two years at the club, has also previously been in charge of Argentina and Chile.

According to Globoesporte, Santos have identified the experienced Argentine as the man to take their side forward in the new season.

Bielsa led Bilbao to the final of the Europa League and Copa del Rey in the 2011-2012 season.
