Report: Atalanta to extend Alejandro Gomez deal

Argentinian forward Alejandro Gomez will be offered a new contract at Serie A side Atalanta BC in the coming days, according to reports.

The 27-year-old has three goals and two assists for Atalanta and has been a key part of his side's fine start to the season.

That form will be rewarded with the offer of a new deal at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, despite ongoing interest from AC Milan, reports Tuttomercatoweb.

Gomez, who has represented his country at Under-20 level, joined La Dea from Ukranian side Metalist Kharkiv in 2014.

Atalanta currently sit in 10th place in Serie A, with 18 points from 13 games.
