Aston Villa, Sunderland chase Ivan Ramis

Aston Villa and Sunderland are reportedly locked in a battle to sign Real Mallorca defender Ivan Ramis.

The 27-year-old Spaniard, who has one year left on his contract, recently admitted that a move to the Premier League would appeal to him.

However, the centre-back could cost around £9m, according to The Sun.

Ramos is thought to have turned down a move to Everton two years ago.
