Aston Villa midfielder Jean II Makoun has left the club to join Olympiakos on a season-long loan deal.
The Cameroon international only joined Villa in January from Lyon but has now joined the Greek champions for the next 12 months.
Makoun will be able to play a part in Olympiakos' Champions League group fixtures against Arsenal, Marsielle and Borussia Dortmund.
The move has yet to be rubber-stamped as both clubs await clearance from Fifa.
