Michael Drennan extends Portsmouth loan

Aston Villa youngster Michael Drennan has extended his loan spell with Portsmouth until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old striker arrived at Fratton Park on a temporary deal last month.

Drennan, who has also been loaned out to Carlisle United during the current campaign, has scored one goal in five appearances since joining the South-Coast club.

Pompey continue their League Two campaign on Tuesday night when they make the trip to leaders Rochdale.
