Aston Villa defender Carlos Cuellar has hinted that he could return to his home country of Spain.

La Liga sides Espanyol and Villarreal are thought to be interested in signing the 30-year-old.

The centre-back joined Villa from SPL champions Rangers in 2008 for around £8m.
