Aston Villa 'hope to sign Adnan Januzaj on loan'

Aston Villa are attempting to sign Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj on loan until the end of the season, according to reports.

The 19-year-old broke through into the United first team last season, but has struggled for game time under new manager Louis van Gaal, prompting rumours of a move away from the club this month.

The Daily Star claims that Villa boss Paul Lambert wants Januzaj to give his side a creative boost in the second part of the season and Van Gaal will discuss the deal with Januzaj and his representatives after United's game with Southampton on Sunday.

Januzaj has made 13 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions this season.
