Team News: Ciaran Clark one of five Aston Villa changes

Ciaran Clark returns from a calf complaint as Aston Villa host Bournemouth this afternoon.

Ciaran Clark returns from a calf complaint as Aston Villa host Bournemouth this afternoon.

The defender's inclusion is one of five changes made by interim manager Eric Black, as Kieran Richardson, Jordan Lyden, Leandro Bacuna and Scott Sinclair also start.

Making way for the hosts, whose relegation from the Premier League may be sealed if they take nothing from this game, are Alan Hutton, Micah Richards, Carlos Sanchez, Carles Gil and Rudy Gestede.

There are two changes from Eddie Howe, as Tommy Elphick and Dan Gosling are preferred to Adam Smith - who has been nursing a hernia problem - and Eunan O'Kane, who drop to the bench.

Aston Villa: Guzan, Lyden, Clark, Lescott, Cissokho, Bacuna, Westwood, Gana, Richardson, Sinclair, Ayew
Subs: Bunn, Richards, Adama, Sanchez, Gestede, Grealish, Toner

Bournemouth: Boruc, Francis, Elphick, Cook, Daniels, Ritchie, Gosling, Surman, Gradel, Grabban, King
Subs: Federici, Wiggins, Macdonald, O'Kane, Pugh, Iturbe, Wilson
