Ashley Westwood confident of Chelsea upset

Aston Villa midfielder Ashley Westwood says that his side will be full of confidence as they travel to face Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend.

Ashley Westwood has insisted that Aston Villa will travel to Stamford Bridge full of confidence this weekend as they look to continue their strong start to the Premier League campaign.

Villa are currently third in the table after five games having lost on just one occasion so far this campaign.

That defeat came last weekend against Arsenal, but Westwood says that his side are now looking to bounce back when they take on league leaders Chelsea.

"Last year we went [to Stamford Bridge] in the middle of a tough run of games, we played them in midweek and we thought we should have got something out of the game," the 24-year-old midfielder told the Birmingham Mail.

"We were unlucky then, but we'll go there this year with confidence again, just as we did against Liverpool at Anfield. If we play like we did last year at Stamford Bridge, going there and unsettling them and taking them away from their game, then we can hit them with Gabby and the other quick players we have up front."

Westwood has featured five times for the Villans this season in all competitions.
