Aston Villa's Tim Sherwood hails Scott Sinclair's "top-drawer" finishing

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood praises Scott Sinclair's "finishing" following his hat-trick against Notts County in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday.

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has suggested that it will be difficult to leave Scott Sinclair out of his side this weekend following the player's hat-trick in the Capital One Cup.

The 26-year-old was named on the bench for Villa's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend.

However, he was given a starring role in Tuesday's 5-3 triumph over Notts County in the second round of the League Cup.

"When you take a lot of goals out of your side, you have to take a look around your club and see what goals are left," Sherwood told the club's official website.

"Scott Sinclair is a goalscorer. He scored me a few last season. We might just need to find him a place in your team at some stage. Every day his finishing is top drawer."

Villa will face Sunderland this weekend.
