Charles N'Zogbia has insisted that there is more to come from him at Aston Villa this season.
The French winger joined the Midlands club from Wigan Athletic in July 2011 for £9.5m but has failed to recreate the form that earned him a move from the DW Stadium.
"You'll see the real me. I scored my first goal this season against Manchester City in the League Cup," the 26-year-old told The Mirror.
"Whether I play more is down to the manager. As long as we have a good line of communication then there is no problem.
"It is the manager's choice and I have to accept that. I must make sure I take my chances when they come."
Sixteenth-placed Villa face a trip to Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
