Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert praises the impact that Leandro Bacuna has had on the team this season.

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has praised winger Leandro Bacuna's contribution to the team this season.

The 22-year-old Dutchman joined the Villans from FC Groningen in the summer on a three-year deal.

Bacuna netted his fifth goal of the campaign on Sunday as Villa defeated Norwich City 4-1 in the Premier League.

"Leo has done great for us," Lambert told the club's official website. "People forget he's only just got here. He's only just starting out in the Premier League. He learning and getting on with it."

Villa are back in action on Saturday when they visit Manchester City in the Premier League.
