Team News: Aston Villa recall Christian Benteke, Ron Vlaar for FA Cup tie

Christian Benteke and captain Ron Vlaar have returned to the starting lineup as Aston Villa begin life without Paul Lambert with this afternoon's FA Cup tie against Leicester City.

The duo started Villa's last two games on the bench, but coaches Scott and Andy Marshall have recalled them both.

Leandro Bacuna has also been reinstated, as has veteran goalkeeper Shay Given, who has replaced Brad Guzan between the posts.

Meanwhile, the visitors have handed a start to defender Marcin Wasilewski, with ineligible loanee Robert Huth dropping out.

New Villa boss Tim Sherwood will be in attendance, but is only expected to watch the last-16 tie from the stands.
